Review Of Dhurandhar! (Edit -> I Rewatched It!)

 

It seems, Finally, Bollywood has EVOLVED! Thank God! And Dhurandhar is an Example of that. Just watched it Today in the Theatre. And I won’t mind watching it again Tomorrow as well. And as I’ve always written, even a pinch of Trance (both vocal / non-vocal, especially non-vocal) can alter the aesthetics of any movie! And that happened in Dhurandhar as well. Further, there’s not a single scene wherein one would complain about exaggeration of anything. Nope! As every scene of this flick is worth a watch. Before going to Theatre, I asked myself, that, can I sit for that long, means almost 4 hours, including the Theatre’s Ads? But, as I said herein above, I can watch once again, maybe I’ll go tomorrow as well. Why? There’re few reasons:

1.        Since 2001, I’ve watched hardly couple of Bollywood Flicks only in Theatres’, as, just alike MTv, Channel V, VH1 etc Fell or Lost their Charm; Bollywood too had Nothing great to offer! Maybe the Recruits matter after all! SORRY! But it seems, Dhurandhar now has Re-Defined and Re-Imagined Bollywood! What Bollywood supposed to be! What Bollywood should be! And what Bollywood ought to have been -> In the Context of Cinematography, Music, Acting, and, Storytelling!  

2.        This flick is in sync with the reality. And it is ultra HYPER-REALISTIC, that it reminded me of FAUDA, wherein you cannot differentiate between whether you’re watching a Movie or a Real Documentary.

3.        I heard in the mainstream that this is the first Bollywood movie that has taken a Quantum Leap, which I can say with Surety is also a -> FACT!

4.        It demonstrates that why the role of Casting Director is of utmost important! As the Cast in this movie is in 100% Sync with the Characters played.

Great Music! Thumbs Up to the Cinematographer! And Great Acting! This is truly a sign that Bollywood has now Evolved, Upgraded, and, would Re-calibrate their Recruits properly as well henceforth; rather, going back to their Unoriginal Grumpy Past!

All said and done -> A Great Watch! And A Must Watch! 😊

Review Of Fantastic 4 First Step

 

For Thousands of Years, or before 1945, or after 1945, and furthermore to maintain any Hegemony, how many lives were/are sacrificed? In the name of proselytism. In the name of region or religion. In the name of economic dominance. In the name of currency. In the name of borders! Now, compare this dilemma with what Galactus wanted -> A single child (and Not even his sacrifice), in return of peace of the entire planet! Now, you decide, who is more Ethical or Trustworthy? Galactus, OR, Humans! Is Galactus > Humans, OR, Humans > Galactus!

The marauders, merchants, proselytisers, zealots, family oriented, religious, regionalists, traders, atheists, agnostics; all we got from them is -> whose human bloodlines can Survive the next generation! Correct? And how many sacrifices have been made in the name of all this, directly or indirectly -> thousands, millions, hundreds of millions, by the humans only! Correct?

Similarly, Galactus also wanted a Single inheritor to survive, but without harming anyone, and ne’er by killing or destroying anyone else! YET, somehow, it was portrayed that Humans had an upper hand or edge  in the name of -> Ethical Dilemmas! Am I missing something?

Look, I dissect the ethical dilemmas, and not alike that Trolley Problem! Because, what Sue Storm did was, literally pulled the lever on the track, whilst sacrificing five, to save, one! Yes, that happened!

Further, she said that the child won’t be sacrificed for This World; but, also the World won’t be sacrificed for This Child! Now, this is -> Paradox -> An infinite equation -> a chicken and an egg problem; which can ne’er be solved! Moreover, the Species, whose anatomy they didn’t even know, and it would’ve taken almost a decade to understand that, YET, they were so confident to defeat Galactus (FUNNY)!? Furthermore, Galactus was an Interdimensional, beyond this Universe Species, YET, then why it travelled So Slow whilst entering this Solar System? Logic Please!

The general rule is that at the time of evacuation, not everyone evacuates; and some choose to live at their own place only; thus, by making the Galactus Walk and Fall over all those buildings; how many more people indirectly were killed! No idea!

But again, Sue Storm wins, as after all, the Production House wanted her to do the unimaginable things for -> L O V E!

All said and done -> Sorry, but -> scientifically, ethically, and morally -> I didn’t like the Flick! Apologies, once again! 😊

Who Should Be The Next BOND GIRL, OR, WOMAN?

 

No offense, but atleast for the Bond Girl, and as the names been suggested in the media -> Not the likes of -> Sydney Sweeney, NOR, Gal Gadot, NOR, Priyanka etc.; because, if they can, then why not also -> Daisy Edgar Jones, OR, Isabela Merced, OR, many more?

In one of my earlier blog, I opined that, who should become the next James Bond, wherein I wrote that it should be in sync with the cast of GOLDENEYE. If one can find GOLDENEYE’S Pierce Brosnan, and further now, if one can find GOLDENEYE’S Izabella Scorupco, then one has found the Bond Girl or Woman.

Look: The Alien franchise worked because the main Protagonist was in Sync with the .mind blowing character. And it was because of Sigourney Weaver, that the Alien franchise since 1979 worked. If someone had tried to replace her with someone else, the Alien franchise wouldn’t have become, amongst the greatest hits.

Similarly, if one wants to remake Seinfeld, then, one must find a person who can replace  Michael Richards and Wayne Knight. It is because of these two men, Seinfeld reached to a point of no return from the Top.

Similarly, John Wick became hit because of Keanu Reeves. Matrix became irreplaceable because of him and Laurence Fishburne. So goes for the Terminator or Rambo and many more.

Once a bar is set, then, one must find either the same or similar match, or maybe, better than them, else, the entire franchise would drown like the deck of cards.

Thus, when it comes to Bond Girl OR Woman, please don’t cast the faces which look, more like Actresses. What you need is an Artist. Those killer looks! Unmatched Style! Which cannot be taught at any of the Theatres or Academic Institute; nor can be Trained by PR Firms!

GOLDENEYE was the benchmark. Can that be broken or crossed, that should be the question.😊
